A great deal of what you see in the Museum has been donated to us by members of the pioneer (and today's)
families. We believe in order to tell history, you have to show history, and encourage visitors to have a "hands
on" approach to most of the artifacts-(please ask a docent , if you are not sure you can touch something!) Enjoy your visit-and you'll probably have to make another trip, as there is so much to see!
